Dieses Aluminiumrohr ersetzt das werkseitige Kunststoffrohr. Bei Fahrzeugen mit einer Leistungssteigerung kann der erhöhte Ladedruck
das Originalrohr zum Platzen bringen. Dieser Defekt kann im schlimmsten Fall durch angesaugte Bruchstücke zu einem Motorschaden führen.

Die Charge Pipe aus Aluminium hat einen vergrößerten Durchmesser (3" Zoll bzw. 76mm) gegenüber dem Original.
Sie verringert Luftturbulenzen und erhöht gleichzeitig die Luftströmung. Dies führt zu einem schnelleren Ansprechen des
Turboladers und einer höheren maximalen möglichen Leistung. Die Software des Motorsteuergeräts muss hierbei nicht neu
abgestimmt werden. Auch bei sehr hohen Ladedrücken besteht keine Berstgefahr. Außerdem bietet diese Charge Pipe eine gute
Basis für die Nachrüstung einer Wasser-Methanol Einspritzung, ein Anschluss für den Injektor ist bereits vorbereitet.
Der Einbau ist relativ einfach da diese Charge Pipe Plug´n´play gegen das Serienteil getauscht wird.
