The connection of the original gears to the crankshaft journal is realized by means of a force-locking connection via diamond disks.

In the original state, this diamond disk often slips. This slipping can result in the timing being adjusted and, in the worst case, in a major

cause engine damage.

In the kit available here, the connection between the crankshaft, camshaft and oil pump is no longer made using diamond disks; the structure has been fundamentally improved. The multi-part design of the original component is replaced by the one-piece hub.
